Their loan application was assessed using the 5 C’s of credit (character, capacity, capital, conditions, and collateral) and was approved, providing the loan needed to launch Millbrook Fit. In addition to securing a loan, the owners were accepted into the Starter Company Plus program, where they participated in hands-on business training and received personalized support to develop key components of their business plan, including a marketing strategy, launch plan, budget, cash flow forecast, and multi-year growth strategy.

Implementation & Results:

With financing and advisory support in place, Deanna and David transformed their vision into a local fitness facility. Since opening in 2025, Millbrook Fit has provided accessible fitness opportunities for youth and adults in Millbrook and the surrounding area. The facility fills an important gap in the community by offering convenient, flexible access to personal training, team training and the only facility with 24/7 fitness access in Cavan Monaghan.
