  • Interest-only payments for the first 6 months
  • No prepayment penalties

Examples of eligible projects include:

  • Meeting the growing demand from customers in other provinces

  • Bringing parts of your supply chain back to Canada

  • Improving your business to stay competitive

  • Expanding your production capacity

  • Hiring new staff and upgrading technology

  • Exploring new export markets

  • Reducing risks in your supply chain or shifting to new industries

  • Developing new products, services, or processes that are almost ready for market

  • Adapting your products or services for local markets (like getting certified, translating content, or meeting local rules)

CANtrade™ Eligible companies are existing for-profit businesses located and operating in the City of Peterborough and Peterborough County (not a subsidiary of a foreign entity).
