While he had a clear vision and the determination to bring Aleppo Castle to life, El Nime required a business loan and expert advisory support to complete the renovations, purchase equipment, and move the business from idea to reality. The storefront he leased did not have an existing kitchen or restaurant amenities, requiring the restaurant to be built from the ground up.

Implementation & Results:

Since opening in downtown Peterborough, Aleppo Castle has quickly become a popular spot for lunch, dinner, students, and the late-night bar crowd, as it is one of the few downtown food spots open past midnight. The restaurant has received overwhelmingly positive customer feedback and built a strong reputation for its authentic cuisine, welcoming hospitality, and celebration of Syrian culture.
