Innovation Cluster Peterborough and the Kawarthas
Innovation Cluster Peterborough and the Kawarthas (ICPK) is focused on supporting entrepreneurs to launch, grow and scale their businesses. They help entrepreneurs reach their business goals so that our local community, job market, and economy continue to grow. The ICPK supports startup businesses by providing entrepreneurs with programming, mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities through key core programs: Startup Incubator and STARTup Visa Program Canada.
As a qualified Innovation Cluster client, you’ll be pre-approved for a loan of up to $20,000, empowering you to scale your business.
Workforce Development Board
Workforce Development Board delivers responsive workforce development solutions to meet local labour market needs through knowledge, resources, and partnerships. Working together with Community Futures Peterborough, the Workforce Development Board informs area business owners and potential business startups about local labour market trends and opportunities, providing valuable insights into the economic indicators supporting the workforce in the region.

Fleming College
Located in the heart of Central Ontario, Fleming College has campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Haliburton. Named for famous Canadian inventor and engineer Sir Sandford Fleming, the college features over 100 full-time programs in Arts and Heritage, Business, Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, General Arts and Sciences, Health and Wellness, Justice and Community Development, Skilled Trades and Technology, and Continuing Education. Fleming College has more than 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students and 75,000 alumni.
