Community Futures Peterborough is recruiting a permanent Executive Director. 

Role Summary
Reporting to the Community Futures Peterborough (CFP) Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for leading CFP to successfully meet objectives and achieve the mission of the organization. CFP is dedicated to creating jobs by providing financing for new businesses and small and medium sized businesses wanting to expand.

The person in this position builds a strong, positive image and awareness of CFP in the community and among related economic development organizations to ensure that potential applicants understand what CFP offers. The Executive Director manages and leads the CFP staff as they assist clients seeking approval of loans by the Board, making recommendations, where appropriate. Effective community relationships, reliable operational and financial administration, Human Resources management and control of the investment portfolio and its growth are key accountabilities for the Executive Director.

Recruitment for a new Executive Director to begin in January 2018

Community Futures Peterborough (CFP) Board of Directors will begin a formal recruitment process for a new Executive Director in January 2018.
Over the next couple months, we will be conducting a search to find the new Executive Director. During the transition period, it is our priority to find the best individual to lead, while still maintaining a stable and effective organization.
The Executive Director is responsible for leading CFP to successfully meet objectives and achieve the mission of the organization. CFP is dedicated to creating jobs by providing financing for new businesses and small and medium sized businesses wanting to expand.
The person in this position builds a strong, positive image and awareness of CFP in the community and among related economic development organizations to ensure that potential applicants understand what CFP offers. For more than 10 years, the Peterborough Community Futures Development Corporation (PCFDC) has supported local companies and organizations expand their operations through the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP).

Applicants can apply for support for projects that focus on job creation and market expansion between August 1, 2014 and September 30, 2018. The PCFDC is encouraging applicants to submit multi-year projects – up to a maximum of $100,000 per recipient.
